We are a school with a long tradition of music and sports located in the Central Bohemian Region. There are another 14 elementary schools in Kladno, although ours is very specific. We do not only offer basic education to pupils and students aged 6-15, but we also educate them in music, sports and foreign languages. We offer pupils and students active participation in athletics, swimming, aerobics, basketball as well as in three of our choirs. It offers students and teachers trips abroad, cooperation on language projects, seminars in foreign languages, prepared project days focused on specific language areas, culture and customs. We provide an individual approach and non-traditional teaching methods based on collaborative learning and teaching, discovering methods, active participating in learning, acquiring learning skills and the last but not least we try to prevent any discrimination and support integration of individuals within EU.
Currently, the English language is very successfully taught in our school. Beyond that, we are the only primary school in Kladno that teaches four other foreign languages - French, German, Russian and Spanish.
